I know this because, and this is not an exaggeration, the vast majority of my manga revisits are to enjoy his expressions of anger, disdain, and malcontent. i shit you not, several of my bsd meta posts wholly unrelated to fyodor were written because I happened to notice something else while flipping through to imbibe fedya's hissy fits. I don't reread the manga when I do this, just those scenes, unless something else catches my attention.

Btw, all true forms are very feathery. Most true forms, like the Blue Fairy even has wings, extra limbs + eyes, horns, ect. This is because I think the idea I have mentioned about star being seen as a monster could be because of these unnatural features. Even in the world of mythical creatures, there isn't many that has so many limbs, so many eyes, ect. So it comes off as terrifying to the human eye. One of my friends said it looks like "Do not be afraid" creatures and I honestly see it 😭

I’m not sure where I’m gonna take this lads, I just wanted to practice drawing V1 and then it became Sun and Moon as the prototype V models from Ultrakill. Now I’ve got two (maybe three) killer robots fueled only by the power of fresh blood. These designs may change over time if I ever polish them up and make new additions!! But this was a lotta fun!! They’re rlly getting me outta my comfort zone with new things (I couldn’t even fcking draw anything like this before like whuh)

,,and maybe I’m contemplating on adding a reader kind of thing where you’re either a resident of Hell or an archangel kinda like Gabriel, but it’s more a rivalry-turned-relationship (enemies to friends(to lovers)) that comes from power death-matches you all participate in and it blossoms from the respect on one another’s skills as you best each other in every fight. Which, I still need to concept because, I’m tired and my wrist hurts

Me thinks I have a weird thing for love in strange places and among unlikely circumstances,, staring at my other wips (that’s yet to come to light cause I wanna work on em properly,,)

i’ve been writing for as long as i can remember, but i still feel behind in a way. my writing is not even close to where i want it to be and it can be really frustrating and demotivating to have some grand idea for a scene but not be able to execute it properly.

and i absolutely adore your writing. i think you’re brilliant and endlessly talented and i wish my writing could be even half as good as yours.

sooooooo do you have any tips for improving writing? i know practice makes perfect or whatever but i need something more specific. i really struggle with not being descriptive enough (especially with any kind of physical touch). how can i improve on that?

i’m so sorry for the long ask, i know you’re busy. i hope you’re doing well and taking care of yourself when you can :)

READ!! if you aren’t improving from writing practise, you need to read more. soak up other styles and discover new ways to get your thoughts onto a page.

I recently took a trip to Tokyo to take a Mokuhanga workshop with master printer Mara Cozzolino. We fit so much into a short five days! Mara guided us through all the stages of printing an edition of mokuhanga prints, and guided us through Tokyo to all the best places to buy supplies (and mochi!). We worked hard in our little studio above Moriki Paper Company and I learned so much about the process.

My best friends been taking me to this art workshop lately and its super set on taking the focus away from whats "right" and what "looks good" in art and away from obsessing over the lines being clean or getting rhe details and anatomy right and more about fucking around and finding out and having fun with it

You dont even really "get" to look at what you're drawing because you're supposed to have your eyes on the model. And honestly, its the most fun I've had with art in literal years tbh, especially with traditional art

But man, is it bitter to wait 148 days on a place that only accepts non-simultaneous submissions to receive a form rejection.

the other weekend I went to a plant magic workshop where we did some work with angelica which was very cool and auspicious as I'm currently midwifing some angelica seedlings at work
